  7. The DigiCHANNEL MC/8i is an intelligent multichannel communications board for
  8. the micro channel with an eight port I/O configuration. It has 256 KB of
  9. onboard RAM and a 12.5 MHz 80186 processor for efficient data storage and
  10. buffering. It's I/O Mate construction offers RS-232 and RS-422 communications
  11. support and an optional synchronous channel can be added to provide synchronous
  12. support for such applications as PC-to-mainframe communications. Up to four
  13. boards can be used in a system, allowing a capacity of 32 ports. The boards are
  14. available with either RJ45 or DB25 connectors. DigiWARE driver software makes
  15. the product compatible with SCO XENIX and other multi-user operating systems as
  16. well as MS DOS and OS/2.
